Smoothly

Your trip to the plains passes without incident. Gena stayed behind, after some convincing and promises that your camp is safe. As you wander around the outskirts of the forest, you see a small herd of what you assume are Ilfesh.

They appear to be around five to five and a half feet tall and thickly built. They are all wearing loinclothes to protect their lower halves but nothing else. You can't see much else of the creatures, so you take stock of their camp. It's a gathering of badly damaged tents. As you quietly approach, you see signs of desperation and fear.

You take a closer look at a female and like what you see: she may be heavier than a human female, but most of that extra weight resides in her hips and breasts. The males are built thick, with obvious stregnth undercut by their timid nature.

The alpha has yet to appear, and you make sure that you remain out of sight. When he finally appears, you nearly gasp at his size. Unlike the other males, who are strong but not cut, the alpha is massive.

He is a lot taller than you and is built like a prize fighter. He has massive bull like horns on his head and the other Ilfesh show him a great deal of respect. You notice him hiding an injury. You think back on what you have learned about this race and wonder how to make your next move.
