Her admission

When Suki mentioned she was an accessory, it was clear in his face he did not like that comment. It was exactly how he felt his Dad treated her, but he let it slide for now. "Thai sounds good, how about 2 orders of Pad Thai, those Shrimp chips?" He said as he pulled out a bottle of Gin, her favorite as he did so on purpose, again trying to show up his Dad that would get it wrong at times. He then grabs small tumblers as he knows she likes it strait.

With a Smile he walked over and put the Drink ingredients on the arm side table by the couch. Then he lifted her feet, and sat on the ottoman putting them down between his silk like cotton robe covered thighs, the bottom of her feet toward his groin. He started to knead her feet to help remove any stress as he looked at her. "You...don't still feel like that now...do you? ...an Accessory?" He did not expect her to say yes, but watched her eyes and face, instead of her voice to gauge his answer.

Suki glanced over as Alex grabbed the Gin bottle, taking a couple small tumblers from the cabinet. He'd guessed her preference, straight up gin. And she took the glasses gratefully, pouring herself a glass, sipping the first drops of the gin as her stepson lifted up her feet, placing them in his lap as he began to massage them.

She paused when he asked her if she felt like an accessory. Truth was some days she did, some days she felt more like his Mistress despite the ring. But a lot of the kinky sh*t they'd gotten into in their younger years had died down a lot, and Suki had gotten used to the rhythm of being on her own, her husband occasionally popping in, sometimes making love, usually hurried, before heading off to another meeting, another job, and she suspected, another mistress. "Right this moment? No. Some days, yes. Some days, I'm really not sure to be honest. I love your father Alex, I may have been a trophy, the final piece of a puzzle in his coup de grace against his biggest rival, but I am his wife."

She sighed, taking another sip. "I just wish sometimes he'd pay more attention to me, treat me like his wife. You know? And when you do find a girl Alex, treat her like royalty, she's the most important thing in your life, followed by your own kids. Work is a distant third, it's a way to afford to enjoy life, enjoy your wife and kids."
