She found this turn of events to be interesting, but his words threw any thoughts of analyzing this creature further out the window. "I see. So you were the one who ended my foolish son's life. Hmm, yes, I see. I better make this quick." Her eyes widened as the air around Tyler grew even darker, that power built up around his hands as she cast Analysis, hoping to get any information she could out of this. - 10 Mp Four shadow bolts of magic flew directly at her chest, she wasn't fast enough, receiving a direct hit by the first bolt taking 40 damage, she felt a chilling pain shoot through her chest, but managed to block the rest with her shield. - 40 Hp Once the shield absorbed the 3rd shadow bolt, it immediately cast that spell in return, hitting Tyler, but for an unexpected result. It healed him for what the damage should have been, restoring 80 of his health. Tyler laughed and said. "Mmm, this will be fun." Analysis popped up with its report: Shadow bolt is weaker in the light and cannot chase a target around corners. She didn't know about the light weakness, but had guessed about corners. 'It's better than nothing.' ,she thought.

She mentally scolded herself, 'Don't be stupid, this is real life, not a video game.'. She knew better, but now wasn't the time to worry about it. It was time to, "Get good." as some people online would say. She growled bringing up her sword while rushing at Tyler, trying to strike, but missed. Tyler simply side stepped Lex, throwing her off balance for a moment. She felt her lack of experience in combat was really showing, but Tyler used this opportunity to switch it up, casting a beam of shadow energy at Lex's back side, hitting her for 5 damage a second. - 10 Hp She winced in pain for a second, turning to direct her shield at the beam, sending it down towards the ground and out of harms way. The ground however began to turn grey and lifeless as the beam began to dig into the ground. Lex used this momentary opening to rush Tyler again, striking along his arms, and chest, resulting in 2 real hits of 25 + 50 damage. (75 x 2 = 150 damage) Tyler winced and leapt back, lifting up a hand and said. "Really? Going to kill both me and my son on the same eve? Are you really so cruel? Woman?"
