Yes, but barely.

Alice gritted her teeth. Before she had been at nearly no risk of being seen as long as she played it safe. Now, over this flat, seemingly unending portion of road, she felt very much at risk of being seen. The moment she started towards the tree, Alice wouldn’t have anywhere to hide. If a car came down the road at the right time, she’d have no way to cover herself, and be seen naked by a complete stranger. She waited until the next car passed, and she couldn’t see anymore cars in either direction, before taking off in a dead sprint for the tree.

Alice focused only on the object of her desire, the tree which would offer her a safe resting point. Her arms and legs pumped furiously towards their target, her hair flowed behind her as she ran along the road. After reaching the point that was almost at halfway, Alice stopped, and headed towards the fence to climb over.

Just as she thought she was going to make it Scott-free, she turned her head towards the area of woods she had come out of, and saw a car coming around the bend. Her heart dropped, and she hastily climbed over the fence, falling as she hit the ground. Alice quickly picked herself up, and used the last bit of her energy to fall behind the tree.

Panting, and heaving, Alice heard the car continue past, giving no acknowledgement it had seen her at all. She hoped that was the case, and laid down on her side, resting herself.
