Science Class

Fluttershy stops scratching the chin on her fuzzy friend and stands up, to her fuzzy friends displeasure. She brushed some grass off of her green skirt, making sure no grass was stuck to her rear....again. "I have to go now Mr.Squirrel.

I've got a big science project to turn in so I can't be late. Fluttershy quickly walked out of the garden, waving goodbye to her animals as they waved back. She briskly walked to class, somewhat excited to see the fruits of her labor pay off. She had to grow a plant of her choice and give a brief presentation on it. Simple enough.

But each student was required to grow something exotic and explain how it survived in its natural environment and it's contribution to the ecosystem. While Fluttershy was more of an animal girl she wasn't unknowledgeable in this field either. After all she had to know of them for the sake of her animals. Some needed very specific diets and couldn't be allowed near certain plants since they could be dangerous to them or even poisonous.

Fluttershy made it to class on time and sat at her desk next to her friend Sunset Shimmer. Flashing her friend a smile Fluttershy gave a quick glance at the orchid she placed in the window earlier that day. The purple flower was perfectly healthy and was by far the prettiest all the others. "Ok class. We shall go strait into our class projects since it will take more than one periods to get though you all. Now then, Ms. Shy, will you please start things off? Fluttershy smiled meekly as she rose from her seat. She quickly took her flower from the window and placed it on the teachers desk. Upon turning around Fluttershy realized that she was in front of her entire class. Her natural shyness began to show itself as her legs began shake and beads of sweat trickled down her forehead. "Ms. Shy?" Mrs. Harshwenny asked, somewhat concerned about her student.
