Learning More About the Rules

By midday, Steve felt like he had learned more about the powers of the Stylus.

Although the Stylus compelled his roommates to hug everyone as a form of greeting, it couldn't compel them to _want _to hug people. This was most obvious with Rayya, who had seemed disinclined to hugging Steve. Victoria, when she saw Steve, gave him a quick hug before leaving the house to see her boyfriend.

Rachel--Steve's third roommate--hadn't given Steve a hug at all. While Steve was sitting in the kitchen, waiting for his roommates to open the fridge and see the rules, Rachel remained at the couch, watching some garbage on the television. Steve tried calling her over once, but she only gave him the stink eye and returned to her show.

Finally, Rayya walked out of her room again, this time with her 'friend', a stereotypical alpha male, in Steve's estimation. The guy had a hand on her ass as they left the dorm. The guy ignored Steve's existence, which was not unusual, and Rayya gave Steve the bird. Which was, also, not unusual.

Steve's last roommate, a redhead named Jessica, actually saw the rules, and groaned afterwards. She spun around and gave Steve a hug without him even anticipating it. Because he was sitting, he felt Jessica's small tits brush the side of his head. But, she pulled away before he could really appreciate the feel of her breasts.

That same night, Steve went to bed early. He wanted to wake up before anyone else so that he could write new rules without anyone seeing him.
