Unattended Attention:

“Thanks, Laura you’re right it’s so rare for us to get breaks it seems without us keeping an eye out the world it will fall to chaos an exaggeration I know but you get the point, it’s a massive burden and it can be very tiring you know?” She said Laura nodded her head after the light turned green they made a left hand turn only a few more minutes until they were at his home, getting out the of the car they looked at the series of apartments finding the right number Laura and kitty walked up to the stairs.

Hearing the door knock Steven quickly put his clothes on before going to the door opening it he saw two women in front of him their outfits looked a bit familiar but for some reason, it wasn’t clicking...

“Hello, Mr. Walker I am Kitty Pryde and this is Laura we are from the X-Men a group that advocates the rights for Mutants, with Cerebro we discovered you had awakened your power and we wish to speak to you about it do you mind if we come in?” She asked Steven was shocked no wonder they looked familiar they are X-Men he’d remember watching the news and hearing of their exploits fighting sentinels, and various villains across the globe, as well as fighting against aliens he gulped he stepped inside and allowed them in, after closing the door the person on the right Laura was eyeing him up there was something about the way she looked at him that made him nervous.
