Kitty Pryde, in her room

Kitty came back late at night. Early in the morning, technically. She had gotten a text, saying that she had a new roommate. She hoped the new girl hadn't looked into her room, she had left quite a lot of stuff out in the open. Just in case, she knocked softly on the girl's door. There wasn't any response. Just in case, Kitty poked her head through the door. She didn't need to open it in order to do this, since her mutant ability let her pass through solid objects. Sure enough, there was a girl sleeping inside.

She considered stepping in and getting a better look at her, but thought better of it. Then she did it anyway. Where was the harm in just taking a look. She looked over the girl, not seeing any obvious powers, like being made of rocks or having fur. The girl was a little attractive, maybe, but Kitty usually preferred older women, and always dominant ones, and she didn't look like she could dominate anything.

Kitty was turning to leave, when a muffled voice came from behind her as the girl said something in her sleep. Her speech was slurred, but Kitty could understand the words.

"I am your Mistress, Kitty."

In an instant, the words flowed through her ears and directly into her brain. For a moment, she felt as if her entire mind had been overwritten with that one sentence. She did have a woman she talked to online once and called Mistress. They used to have a lot of fun together, but that Mistress had sent her pictures, and the new girl didn't look anything like her. No, on second thought, she looked a little like the pictures. A lot like them, if they had been taken in the right light, with makeup. Yes, her brain decided, this new girl was, without any doubt, her Mistress.

She should leave, her conscience pointed out again, eavesdropping on someone was wrong, especially if it was her Mistress. Besides, added another, somewhat less charitable part of herself, she had to plan to seduce her Mistress.
