Bartending

I arrive at the pub and start my shift. Like most Friday nights the bar is packed with patrons and another bartender joins me for the shift. Tonight i was working with Max. Max is a gym addicted muscle bound moron but he somehow was able to memorize how to make all the drinks on the menu so i'm always glad to be working with him. After about a hour into our shift Sara shows up at the bar. My heart skips a beat. She comes up to me and orders a Gin & Tonic. We talk for awhile about mundane things as i pour other patrons drinks. The conversation is pointless but nether of us wants it to end. Any excuse to hear each others voices we would take. We went on like this for about a hour then i asked Max if he could cover for me for a bit. Max agreed albeit grumbling under his breath. I took Sara back into the storage room. I pushed her into the wall gently and we began to kiss in heated passion our tongues embracing in a fury of pure lustful bliss. This moment felt as though it stretched on for eternity, our minds melting into the pleasure forgetting all else but our embrace. Alas even eternity ends eventually. The door opens as Max comes in to grab more drinks shocking us out of our kiss. I quickly move back and Sara runs out of the room.

Tulip: Max what the hell man! Fucking knock would you.

Max: Sorry i thought you were taking a leak or smoke.

Max pauses for a minute processing the situation.

Max: I didn't realize you were... a lesbian.

Tulip: Seriously? You didn't notice that by now? Wow... just wow *sighs* okay shit well now you do.

Max: Yeah... seriously sorry about messing up your...

Tulip: Make out session probably leading to sex.

Max: Yeah... that. Look if you wanna chase after her i can handle the rest of the shift myself. I really feel like shit about this.

Tulip: Wow... that's... thanks man.

I hug Max and leave the pub.
