Yes, Francesca makes a difficult choice

Julia awakens the following night, slightly delirious. Her stomach is in knots, and she has broken into a cold sweat. Her gums have started to bleed. Julia opens her eyes and sees her sister sitting in a chair watching her, a pained expression on her face.

"Julia, I...brought you something" Francesca says flatly. She points to the floor. A young woman is **** on the floor. "I invited her over to watch a movie, and put sleeping pills in her drink" Francesca says. Julia can read the guilt in her tone, but doesn't care. She is in too much physical agony to care about anything but feeding.

"Thank you Francesca. I love you" Julia says. Francesca says nothing, and walks towards the stairs.

"Won't you stay with me?" Julia begs. Francesca doesn't even turn around, and goes up the stairs, closing the door. Julia is heartbroken, but her primary thoughts are on the warm meal on the floor. She gets off the bed, feeling every joint crack and scrape. She kneels on the floor, inhaling the scent of her prey. She can't hold back, she turns the girl's head and strikes. Julia sucks on the artery in the girl's neck, hot blood spurting over her tongue. She drinks quickly but carefully, not wasting a drop of the precious fluid. Warmth fills her body, she feels herself recovering the more she drinks, the aches receding. Julia feeds until the girl takes her last breath, drained. She sits back, catching her breath.

The kill felt so good she thinks. Her discomfort is mostly gone, but the hunger remains. I want more.
