Building Courage (Kasper & Valerie)

Working up the courage to go help and talk with the gorgeous girl left alone in the kitchen, Kasper walks up next to the petite blonde and sets the rest of the dishes down before holding his hand out towards the girl as she is scrubbing away at the dishes. "Thanks!" she gives him a nod before handing the boy the wet dish which then he takes that, turns to his side and places it into the dishwasher.

One by one the two continue their good teamwork, Valerie rinsing off the big chunks of food down the disposal as well as scrubbing off some of the sticky sauce before she hands the plate to Kasper who puts it away. For the longest time the two stand there in silence until finally the boy decides to break words.

"S-So..." Kasper mumbles out, not very loud "You and Marcus huh?" he gives a shrug as he turns his head and looks at the girl who seems to turn her head just briefly and cracks a grin at him. He reaches down to grab the plate from her hands before loading it into the dishwasher, "About that though, I mean, it was for the mission yeah? Thinking about getting those bonuses. That was actually very thoughtful of you." Kasper swallows, "Like, if it was me I probably would have let that bonus objective fail or something." he reaches up and scratches the back of his head as he once more looks at Valerie who seems to be staring down at the running faucet as she rinses off another dish. "I-I mean, that's not because I don't find you attractive. I-I do! You are, like, very pretty." Kasper stutters his words a few times. "A-Actually very pretty."

Getting no response from the girl, Kasper clears his throat softly before swallowing hard, "I-I would have loved to be in that position... S-Stuck in there with... with... with you." he looks at her again and gives a grin, still though, she continues to do dishes, not really responding to him, "You are very, umm, very b-beautiful and caring." he places another dish in the washer, "A-And I think...err, well, anyway, just thank you for doing that and thinking of our team!" he looks at her again as her head softly bobs up and down.

Soon enough, Valerie hands the last dish to Kasper and begins to rinse off her hands, "We actually make a pretty good team, you and I." Kasper says over his shoulder as he puts the dish away, "You do amazing work in the field with all the gadgets and gizmos I create and even here in the kitchen we, umm, we work flawlessly together." he closes the machine before bringing his hands over to the sink to rinse them. "It's well, it's fun working with you Valerie, like, a lot of fun." he turns the faucet off before reaching down to a hand towel to dry them off, "And you think about the team, ya know, with those, umm, those bonus objectives and such...you really are spectacular!" Kasper finally finishes drying his hands as he turns to Valerie. "S-So yeah, you are an amazing woman and I hope you know that." he turns his body to look right at the slender blonde.

Her hazel eyes finally connect with his own and she cocks her head to the side as the two teammates look at each other for a very long five seconds. Suddenly, Valerie's right hand goes up to her ear and pulls the earbud out of it, she holds it a tiny distance from her ear and raises her eyebrow, looking ever so adorable, "You say something Kasper?" she gives off such a cute smile.
