Chapter 4 by Janis_en_femme Janis_en_femme

What's next?

Disapproval

Barbara Smith strutted along Main Street. She is doing a bit of window shopping on her way to the Ladies Guild at Our Lady of Peace church. Passing by a wedding dress shop, she slowed down and reminiscences when she went in for her fitting when she got married. A wry smile crosses her face. Adam has done quite well since their marriage.

Yes, she pushed him but he did serve to help relieve her sexual needs. She shuddered at the truth. Sex was something that she did not like to admit. But she did so enjoy it. And she used it to coerce her husband into working hard and making a lot of money.

Still Barbara held a position of respectability and she enjoyed that more than sex. The influence was one of the most important aspects of her life.

Suddenly, she looked past the display of wedding dresses and couldn't believe what she saw inside. She marched in and demanded to see the manager.

"What's the matter, Mrs. Smith?" the prim young man cleared his throat.

"That!" she pointed to the two women trying on wedding gowns.

The effeminate young man turned and looked. Shaking his head, he knew what she was going to complain about.

"They are lesbians! And you are encouraging such blasphemous behavior, they are planning to get married! And you're encouraging it! You know the church is opposed to such lewd and improper behavior. The Guild will hear about this. You will see a decline in your sales if I have anything to do with it!" Barbara turned and stormed out.

The manager walks over to the couple and apologized.

"I am so sorry. We don't discriminate as you know. Her outburst was shameful," he apologized.

The happy couple laughed.

"It's not the first time we've encountered this," said Liz.

"Oh, yes, this dress is gorgeous. We'll take them," Chris said as she kissed Liz full on the lips.

The manager sighed in romantic jealousy. He hopes to find love like they did. He trotted off to write up the sale.

"So she's the one, right?" Liz smirked.

"Oh, yes, she's the one that mother is concerned about," Chris giggled.

"We'll take care of her. In fact, the plan is already in progress."

What is the plan?
