A touchy Subject

"Ok, " I nodded, my eyes still scanning the fog ahead of us. Condensation was starting to form, and I cranked the heater to get it off of the windscreen. "Dad offered to pay for Kaila's abortion."

"I... Uh... thought you said it was..." Charlotte began, her flirty expression turning into one of concern.

"Yeah, it ended UP being an ectopic, but when I told dad the news, he immediately offered to pay for an abortion." I shrugged my shoulders. "He said they were trouble, and that I'd only end up getting my heart broken."

"Ooooh, ouch. So when she and I started hooking up..." Charlotte nodded, sitting up again, while adjusting her seat.

"Oh, yeah, that was running through my head a bit. " I nodded, realizing where a lot of that fear and need to check on her had come from.

"OH, jeez, Brent, why didn't you just... so he hated your wife, said she was going to cheat, and anything else?" Charlotte shook her head. "This is such... you two are damaged goods, you know that? Seriously, there has to be more to this, because I mean... as of right now I can't see why this would be a problem, or at least such a BIG problem. Oh an'... speakin of big..." Her eyes drifted to my crotch. "You wanna get those dirta little sista fantasies I sah on your porn history takin cayah of?" She laid on the fake southern accent as heavy as she ever had.

"Ok, that's one hell of a turn on, I admit it." No use lying at this point, I figured. She had seen everything, and was still interested. "Kaila would never..." I began.

"That's your problem right there. You can't even talk about it, can you? " Charlotte interrupted me. "I really wish that I knew about this one. Stuff like this, this is what fucks up a multiple. I don't have time in my life to try to keep track of the subjects Helen and I can't talk about, so let's not have me trying to figure out which ones are ok with you but not ok with your wife? OK?"

"Right, I need to just tell her that it's a fantasy." I nodded.

"Exactly, You tell her, you accept that it's something that turns you on, and you and she have a passionate session where you get out exactly what the problem is. Just don't freak when she wants to call you Daddy some night in return."

"Well, that's one that hasn't come up." I laughed.

"Yeah, well, you want to get that fantasy out with me then, big brother?" She giggled coyly. "Of course, I'd have to trust my big brother with everything. Rescuing me, saving me. But only if my big brother would tell me why his wife and he are being such big babies..." She dropped her voice into a humorous sulk.

"You're doing this on purpose." I pointed out.

"Uh, Duh. " She agreed.

"Ok, but it'll probably kill the mood. Dad also offered to buy her off if money was the issue. " That one hurt to remember. "Did it right in front of her too. Acted like she was a fucking maid or something. "

"Oh, that's fucked up." Charlotte responded.

"When I talked to him about it later, after the surgery, he told me that it would have saved us both a lot of grief if we'd listened to him in the first place. That's when I stopped talking to him. Imogene still lives with him, and Kaila thinks she's trying to move in with us. Which... she is." I admitted the last hesitantly. "I keep telling her no, and I keep explaining that it would be a really bad idea, but bad things keep happening to Imogene and after how dad treated Kaila, I can't just abandon her."

"Brent, seriously. Forget the fantasy. You and your sister really just need to fuck and get this over with."
