It escapes and returns to Eddie Brock

The Venom symbiote, using the disguise, manages to escape the facility.

Controlling her body, Venom walks to where Eddie Brock's remains are, and quickly, it covers its black biomass along his mutilated torso and body parts.

Eddie isn't dead yet, perhaps. He is almost dead, kept alive by those remnants of symbiote in his bloodstream.

A few hours later, Venom returns. Eddie Brock is revived and his strength has returned.
