Chapter 4 by Imperia Imperia

How do I know this pirate?

2 (real) years ago...

Really, the best thing about this game was the amount of control players could take over story lines. I had met Sibilla Goldwell on a nothing side quest on some coastal village near Cor Nostrum. Her father was the priest of the village church, and sought my help in convincing his daughter to wed the suitor he had chosen. The reward was good enough, so I went to speak with her. Problem was, I ran into said suitor. And he was a dick. So I was already sort of on the daughter's side. But when she talked about escaping this nowhere town and seeing more, doing more...

We had escaped together on horseback, and I may have kicked her fiancé in the face. Once free from that dreary village, I found she had quite the wild streak to her. Which suited me just fine, as I role played Nameya as a lovable thief and criminal. So we went on a pirate adventure.

Because I had made her a companion, she also leveled up along side me. So even if at first it was me carrying the adventures, soon she was kicking ass right there with me. She kicked so much ass, in fact, that she managed to win command of her own ship, The Emerald Corsair. Emerald like her eyes. We had spent a lot of time together, whenever I wasn't doing story missions or fucking around with my real-world friends. The last time I had seen her, we were sailing away from Praesidium with a haul of gold and jewels from the treasury. And, much to my embarrassment... She took my first kiss.

It was brief, and of course with Sibilla not being real, I wasn't sure if that counted or not. But what first kiss could top an adrenaline filled escape from the royal navy? Maybe what was weirder was that my first kiss was as a girl. But I could still taste the whiskey she had taken a swig of right before, and could feel her fingers playfully running through my hair.

Then I had disappeared.

We smashed our way through the black and red clad pirates. Bodies littered the sand, staining the pure white red. Stian shouted a battle cry, cleaving anyone between him and the quest marker in two. Imari was right beside him, deflecting blows with his tower shield before retaliating with a mighty blow from his hammer. Raistlynn and I hung back, slinging spell and arrow at the foes too far from out front-liners.As far as questing goes, missions at sea were a mixed bag. We hadn't bothered with a boat, all of us having some form of winged mount. But we could've had some fun fighting sea monsters or boarding the escaping pirate vessel. But why were they on this island?

As we cut through the foliage, the reason became clear. Mounds of sand and dirt spotted the clearing they had wandered into. Shovels and tired pirates were scattered everywhere as well. In front of a massive chest of oak and iron, we could see two figures, one kneeling and one standing.

"Well? Can you open it?"

"I told you, yes. But my specialty is more with city locks, the newer stuff. This is ancient. Simpler, but... URGH! Stuck. So for the sake of the light, give me a minute."

"Yeah yeah. We've got plenty of time. Then you can take your share and go home to mommy. If you're not interested in finding any more, that is."

"Look, someone's gotta take care of the woman. But... Talk to me anytime you swing back by Cor Nostrum."

"Yeah, yeah, I wi -"

The standing figure, dressed in a dark red coat over black trousers and a white fluffy shirt, stopped talking. She stared straight at us, and kicked the man working on the lock.

"Ow! Hey, wha- Oh..."

I wondered immediately if she could recognize me. For her, it would have been four years since we met last. Either way, maybe I could talk her down and avoid further -

"Have at you, treacherous sea dogs! Fear the thunder of Stian Stormbright!" Stian leapt forward, glaive readied, face alight in a wide smile. The pirates on the ground rushed to their feet and loosed their swords, and Sibilla drew her cutlasses.

Without much choice, I decided to shoulder my bow and draw my own short sword. I'm not sure really why I did that. I could have easily sat back and picked off some of these pirates. But instead I pushed through the group, swinging at two or three of the low level pirates, before finally reaching their Queen. I lifted my blade as Sibilla made to slash at me with her swords. As I caught the swings, I was taken aback by the strength behind them. I tumbled to the floor, and my sword clattered into the hole. Shit.

She brought a sword point to my neck, and glared at me. Then smiled. Then her anger melted into laughter. Her golden hair was longer than it had been, and she had grown. No question she was taller than me now, and her breasts (having already been generous) had filled out even more, and I admit to staring as she shook laughing. Before I could say anything, she tossed aside her blades, pushed me down, and brought her lips to mine.

Fuck it. However weird this was, I desperately wanted it. I wove my fingers through her's and closed my eyes, opening my mouth to her, letting her tongue in. Wine. She must have been drinking recently. But what was more intoxicating than the kiss was feeling her against me. Her knee rested between my thighs, in itself exciting. As she continued her greedy exploration of my mouth, I found myself grinding against her leg, begging for more.

Then my eyes shot open, remembering suddenly I was surrounded by my friends. Sibilla must have noticed my sudden panic, as she pulled away, allowing us to both gasp for breath. I had half expected everyone to have weapons pointed at her, pirates dead, but instead it seemed like the fighting had stopped the instant she had climbed on top of me.

Imari was the first to actually break the silence, a playful smile on his face. "Enjoying yourself Nameya dear?" Dammit Abby.

"So..... What now?"
