You decide to act shocked by covering your mouth and gasping. He looks embarrassed and looks back down at the shoes.

"I'm so sorry, Sir. I forgot when I got into the car i spilt some soda on the chair and ended up soaking my panties. So I took them off because they got a stained." you say wondering if he's going to believe such a extremely lame excuse.
