Will

"I haven't seen a single animal all day, so I don't think we have to worry about it. Will and I can take the tent furthest from the Odyssey. If anything does come by, Will's a light sleeper, so he'll hear it."

Vanessa shoots a quick glare at a smiling Will before rolling her eyes.

"Whatever. Jackie, you're with me."

"I'm not sleeping with you unless you promise not to call me Jackie again."

Jacqueline and Vanessa continue talking, but you and Will have long since stopped paying attention, and instead are getting everything situated in your tent. Having your best friend with you is great. The two of you are laughing non-stop, sharing funny stories of the rest of the guys back home. It hits you how thankful you are to have him here. You shudder, remembering how close he was to not making it, and the sacrifice you made in saving him. Will knows you too well.

"Hey, I never got the chance to thank you for saving me."

"Don't worry about it man. You'd have done the same for me."

"Ben, I know who was in the pod next to me. I would have understood if you chose her. I mean, she's your fam-"

"Can we not talk about this? I already had to live through that once today. I don't really want to be reminded of it."

"Shit, sorry man. I won't mention it again. Just...know that I'm really thankful...And if you do decide you want to talk through it, you've always got me here for you."

"Thanks."

An awkward silence descends upon the two of you as you both lay down beneath the blankets. You can't sleep. Your mind is still on Sarah. Just when you think you're going to break down into sobs, Will breaks the silence with a chuckle and a snort.

"What's so funny?"

"Do you think our parents would have believed us back in kindergarten if we told them we'd have a sleep over on an alien planet one day?"

You can't help but laugh. You can imagine EXACTLY how that conversation would go. Will, God bless him, sees his opportunity to distract you, and starts doing a pretty spot on imitation of your dad having that conversation. Ten minutes and a lot of laughs later, the conversation dies down again.

"Well man, if I'm stuck in a sleep over on some alien world, I'm sure as hell glad it's with you."

Now it's your turn to chuckle. You and Will have had a lot of sleepovers through the years. Your elementary school sleepovers were the usual silly kid stuff: play outside on the trampoline, watch a movie, and eventually fall asleep after about the tenth time that your parents come in telling you to quiet down. Your jr. high sleepovers, though, were a different story.

The two of you were a bit...curious...during those years. It had started off by the two of you trying to "get used" to seeing other guys naked so the locker room wouldn't freak you out. Before long, those turned into conversations about when and how and how often you masturbated. Then one of you dared the other one to jack off in front of them. From there, the dares kept escalating, until eventually you were full-on blowing each other.

It was all just harmless experimentation. Both of you had been interested in women since then, and had each had multiple relationships. Although it was an...odd...chapter in your life, to say the least, you'd never regretted it. You guessed that more guys did stuff like that than would care to admit it, but you'd never know for sure. It wasn't a conversation you would ever bring up with anyone but Will, and the two of you had never really spoken about it since high school started. Still, thinking back on it now, you were hit with some confusion. You HAD liked what you guys did, as did Will. And it definitely was NOT a one time thing. Would you do it again? Would Will even want to? You knew for sure that neither you, nor Will are gay, but could either (or both) of you be bisexual?

"What are you laughing about now?"

Shit! Will heard your chuckle. Looks like you have to decide this now!
