"It's just me," you shout, pissed at yourself for catching her attention. "John."

"Oh, howdy John." her southern accent sounds somewhat scratchy. "Didn't see ya'll coming..."

As you step closer to where she is sitting -on a tree stump of all places-, you notice her eyes are red, tears rolling down her cheek.

"If you don't mind me asking'," you say, sitting down on the ground beside her. "Why are you crying? Did somebody hurt you?"

She sniffles a bit. "No, no it's not that..." her voice gets weaker. "It's just... well... ah dunno..."

She stares blankly into the waterfall. You both just sit there looking into it's majestic beauty until it finally hits you. You haven't been here long, but you know it has something to do with that pussy, Antoine; you remember seeing them together before.

"Is it Antoine?" you suddenly blurt out, instantly clapping your hand over your mouth.

She looks at you.

"What?" she asks.

"Um, nothing..." you shake your head.

"No, no..." she turns. "It is him... will ya'll promise not to tell anyone if I tell you something?"

You look her in her watery eyes, noticing the weakness in their sparkle.

"Promise." you say.

"Ever since Antoine came back from a mission with the king," she looks back at the waterfall. "He hasn't been the same. He's acted colder, and meaner, and, well... just not the Antoine that ah loved."

"Well, some people change. For the worst, sometimes."

She sighs. "I know... I just wish things were back to normal around here... ever since Sonic came back from outer space a year ago, things just haven't been the same..."

Who the fuck is Sonic? You wonder to yourself.

You feel something touch your shoulder; you look up and see Bunni's normal arm resting on your shoulder. You look into her eyes, noticing the beauty from within them.

"John..." she says softly. "Will you do something for me?"

"Anything," you reply. "Just name it."
