See if your neighbor will help

The longer you stay outside the more chance of you getting caught, your only option is to ask a neighbor for help, you quickly discount getting help from most of your neighbors as they're on good terms with your mom and would tell her as soon as she returned home the only neighbor she didn't get on with was Mr Johnson and I was pretty sure it was because he was black. However there was another option, he was an old man in his sixties maybe it was possible to sneak in and steal some clothes.
