Join The Girls

"Well, I guess I'll hang out with you two. That is, if you don't mind." Jack realized that neither he nor Blaire asked Melody if he was allowed. "Is that okay, Melody?"

The raven-haired catgirl bites her lip, thinking it over before she surrenders. "I suppose that's okay. But you two had better not just make out the whole time! I don't want to be left out."

A naughty idea entered his mind, and for a split second, he thought he saw the same idea in the smirk on Blaire's face as she says, "Don't worry. You won't be left out."

With that, the three of them left the classroom and headed back to Melody's apartment. On the way there, the girls talked about the usual things and Jack chimed in every so often with a comment. Before long, the reached their destination and went through the doorway into Melody's home. The apartment was small but orderly, and it had a cozy charm to it. "Wow," Jack said, trying to be polite, "you sure have a lovely place."

"Oh, thanks," she responded as she walked over to her entertainment center and placed a DVD its player. The disk slid in with a faint whir and the TV blinked to life with the usual FBI/INTERPOL warning. The girls quickly took their places on the couch, leaving a space in the middle for Jack. The movie played on uneventfully, telling some cliche story about a guy and a girl falling in love in spite of some obstacle.

He were beginning to drift off when he felt something soft tickle his lower back. Turning his head, he saw Melody's tail rubbing up against him. His gaze shifted to her eyes, where she looked at him with a subtle, curious passion that seemed to say "I'm feeling playful." Jack didn't say anything, but simply enjoyed her attention. It was then that he felt another tail rubbing his back. Blaire's own red furred tail snaked over her back and touched Melody's.

"Looking for something?" She asked, causing Melody to blush.

"I-I wasn't...I mean I didn't...I'm not..."

"Flirting with my boyfriend?" Blaire said, supply the words Melody couldn't.

Melody's ears sank down and she bowed her head. "I am so sorry. It's just, I've always thought Jack was cute. I hope you're not too mad."
