Rachel is Sort of At a Crossroads

A few minutes after Katherine left, Rachel decided to head back to her dorm room, intending on using the spell book to find some way to give herself memories associated with the newest version of reality. With all of these changes constantly happening, it was difficult to keep up with what she should know. She could only give excuses for so long for why she didn't know things that others thought she should.

But about halfway back to her dorm, she stopped, as something had occurred to her, something that she hadn't thought about before. If these changes were spreading from one person to the next, presumably by touch, then maybe she should find the newest person to be affected (Brad, but Rachel didn't know that) and direct that person to touch the people she wanted to be touched. As it was, the spread of changes was completely directionless. Rachel had no control over any of it. For all she knew, the changes could be spread to outside the campus, which did no good for Rachel. She wanted the campus to change, not other people outside the campus. But where could she go to find the newest person that was branded? Katherine mentioned someone named Brad. Maybe he was the one? But where could she find him? She also recalled where Katherine was headed - to Tom's dorm. But where was that? She saw the direction that Katherine was walking in, but that didn't really help. She supposed that she could ask someone where Tom's dorm was, but she didn't catch his last name. Although, according to Katherine, Tom was a Goth now. That might narrow down who he was, if she asked someone about where his dorm was. Another thing she could do was go to Katherine's dorm room and wait for her there. After all, Rachel knew what Katherine was up to right now. It might be rude to just show up at Tom's dorm room, just as they're in the middle of having sex. But just like with Tom, Rachel wasn't sure where Katherine's dorm room was either. Again, she'd have to ask someone.

Ugh, this would be so much easier if she could just access new memories of the most current reality.

So what should Rachel do? Ask around to see where Tom's and/or Katherine's dorm rooms were, then go there? Or just head back to her own dorm room and try to use the spell book?
