The Bravos put off making a decision about how to earn freedom

"Like Hell we're gonna talk to them!" Liv growled, stopping dead in the middle of the street and turning on her friends. "Every second we stay here is another second living as... property!"

"Right, but I don't think they'll be all that mean to us now that they already beat us and stuff" Robin said nonchalantly. "As long as we're nice enough to them, they should be nice enough back!"

"'As long as we're nice to them....'" Liv repeated in disbelief. "Was that what the innocent supply caravan did wrong?! Were they not 'nice enough' to the group of barbarian rapists?!"

"Liv, I understand what you're saying. I don't like them any more than you do, but I don't think we're strong enough to just fight our way out of this one." Emmaline tried to place a hand on her shoulder, but Liv moved out of the way. "...especially with all of us completely naked and disarmed. Me and Fuu are the only ones who could even really fight at all!"

"And what are you suggesting then? That we just... let this city that we know nothing about just tell us what to do?!" Liv shot back.

"That must be the problem." Fuu wondered aloud. "We don't know enough about them, the city or... anything really. Why don't we take a couple of days to get our bearings?" Emmaline and Robin seemed amicable, but Liv looked like she had just seen a mostly rotten rat corpse. "We'll keep our heads down, of course, but this way-- no matter what we decide to do, we'll be better equipped for it. If we choose to run, we'll know guard routes and possible places to escape through. If we decide to work with them, then we'll have contacts."

The group seemed to agree with that decision, even Liv grudgingly admitted that it was a good idea. That only left one more question: what would they do here for the next couple of days?
