She is locked out

Emily had made a fatal miscalculation in her rush to get out. The exit connected to the shower/locker room was a convenient shortcut straight to the garage without having to go through the front of the store. The issue for Emily currently was that her parents had installed a one-sided door (for security reasons). Emily completely forgot about this and as a result, neglected to put any door stopper of any kind against the exit.

"Ashley! ASHLEY!" Emily furiously rapped on the door (which lacked any handles for her to pry on), hoping her sister might hear her cries. Any minute now, another car could drive in Emily thought. She felt even more exposed than before and began shivering from the cool breeze and out of anxiety.
