The next few weeks went about as smoothly as one would expect during finals. When the twins were not studying, they were taking tests, and when they weren’t taking tests, they were studying. Julie’s classes were a bit more merciful than Michel’s as she mostly took art classes. The hardest class she had to deal with was college grade algebra while her brother had engineering classes. This gave Julie a little more extra time which she spent studying up on the resort they were about to go to.

The resort's website, oddly enough, did not have that much information about the sexual activity on the island. All she could find was that there were plenty of women that were more than willing to have sex with their guests. Most of what the site talked about were the golfing, tennis, swimming, and horseback riding. Letting her curiosity get the better of her she decided to look up Freedonia on the Internet to see if she could find any information outside of their website. She did not find any information on the island resort right away. In fact, she mostly got references to the Marx Brothers and a movie they made called “Duck Soup.” She eventually found some outside information on the island resort but even those were vague. Again, most people just talked about the golfing, tennis, swimming, and horseback riding, although every now and again she would run into a few conspiracy theories about the island being a “**** paradise.”

Although her search on the sex on the island was all but fruitless, she did learn a few things that gave her some insight on what the island was like. Apparently, it was considered to be its own nation and had its own set of very relaxed laws, most of which just started not to vandalize anything or hurt anyone, which kind of shot down the “**** paradise” theory. It was also massive for an island. Large enough to hold a tennis courts, a golf course, riding trails, an air strip, and still had at least a mile of unused land. Satellite pictures of the island seemed to support this as the resort itself looked very small compared to the island itself. Aside from this Julie was not able to find much else about the island other than most of its guest were millionaires and politicians.

When the twins told their parents where they were going, they decided to leave out a few details such as the name and the nature of the island. They just told their mother and father that they were going to an island resort where Julie had just scored a major modeling gig. When they asked why Michel was going, Julie told them that they had a beach with plenty of girls and that she wanted to see just how many times he could strike out. Michel just rolled his eyes at this.

Finally, the time came to leave. Finals had come to an end, they were all packed, and Julie found out as much as she could about the island with the limited amount of time that she had. They had to take two planes -- both were paid for. The first took them to a coastal region close to the island while the second was a private jet that would take them to the island itself. They had to share it with a few other island guests, but they didn’t mind, the thought that they were about to fly on a private jet was exciting enough.
