Chapter 6 by hambo hambo

Does Hilda help her?

She decides to help.

This sort of this is technically below my station, but I am a knight, and we are supposed to help people. At least I think there was something in the code of chivalry about that.

After taking so many blows to the head during jousting tournaments its kinda hard for Hilda to remember a lot of things, like where she left her keys, or how Pop-Tarts work.

Hilda agrees to help the old hag (who doesn't seem to appreciate being called 'old' or a 'hag' for that matter), and gets behind the wagon and start pushing.

It takes a good fifteen minutes of pushing and pulling, but the knight finally manages to wiggle it free and make herself absolutely filthy in the process.

The 'aged lady' (her term) thanks Hilda for her help and offers her a trinket for her trouble.

"Take this amulet, and wear it at all times. If you do, good things are sure to happen."

She holds out a piece of string with what looks like the lid to an old mason jar on it.

"Oh my, how... gracious of you. I'll treasure it... always..." Says Hilda, trying to be civil.

What the Hell am I going to do with this junk?

Does she keep it?
