Story Time

"I feel like a pirate," Danielle said with a giggle.

"Arrr, give me that booty," Alex said in his best pirate voice reaching for the wooden chest.

"Wait don't open it yet!" Everyone turned to seeing Eve disappeare into the cabin. A few moments later she came out dragging Becky behind her.

"What's so important," Becky asked while trying to wrap to sheet around her still naked torso.

"We are opening up the chest we found. I wasn't going to let them open it without the bride to be. You know us being on your bachelorette vacation and all," Eve said pointing to the small wooden chest.

Becky headed over and sat tenderly next to Alex. "Sorry I got a little out of control in there." Alex whispered to her with honest concern showing I his eyes. "I didn't mean to hurt you."

"Fuck that," She said and added with a grin, "you can hurt me anytime! You girls need to try that on for size. Cause damn!" She motion to the other girls with her hands spread out showing them how big he was.

Alex smiled to her turning red. "While we are waiting for round two would you like to do the honors?" Sliding the unopened box to her.

Without skipping a beat Becky had the small chest open her long blonde hair blocking everyone else veiw. "Wow!" She exclaimed.

The other women excitedly began talking at once. "What is it?" "Is it gold," "are there jewels?"

Alex held his breath as Becky's hand reached into the opening. She looked right at him and asked, "is this it?" In the palm of her outstretched hand was a single gold coin.

Alex's eyes bugged out of his head. He reached quickly for the coin but she was faster. "What is it?" She asked seeing the excitement showing on his face.

"It. Um...it looked like a gold coin," Alex lied.

"No way Mr. I saw the look on your face. I can tell it's more than that. Now tell me." She demanded.

Alex had seen that look before on his ex-wife's face. He had been around Becky for long enough to know she didn't bluff. He knew there was no getting around it. "Give me a minute," Alex said as he stood up and went below deck. He returned seconds later with long plastic tube. "Do you know the story of Hernan Cortes?"

The girls looked on without saying a word. Alex rubbed his hands on his face preparing to recount a shorter version of the tale he told to his investors.

"Cortes was a Spanish adventurer and conquistador who was in this area around 1519-1523. Cortes had heard stories of a city made completely out of gold so he lead an expedition in land. He did not find the city of gold but found an Aztec city named Tenochtitlan. The Aztecs were primitive people but they had gold and alot of it. He over threw the Aztec living in Tenochtitlan. He then looted and plundered all the riches found in the Aztec City and brought it back to Spain. He was named a hero of and was given a title of governor of New Spain. Till he fell out of favor from the royalty back in his home country. Cortes was a cunning man and there are argument about the reason why he fell out of favor with the crown, but I think I know the real reason." He paused for effect looking at his sexy audience he continued. "I came across an old correspondence written by Cortes himself talking about the finding the city of gold and keeping the gold for himself. I have been looking ever since."

"Wait so why are you looking for a city of gold, located in Mexico, out here near Puerto Rico?" Asked Danielle skeptical of his story.

"Because Cortes didn't mention the location of the city in this letter. He wrote about a ship that sunk near here loaded with gold taken from El Dorado." Alex informed her. "Cortes drew a picture on the letter." Alex said as he uncapped the case and pulled out the letter. He unrolled it for the ladies to see.

"It's the same as the marking on the coin!" Becky exclaimed holding the coin up to the picture for comparison.

When she flipped the coin over Alex noticed the numbers inscribed on the back. "26.515, 69.770".

"Those can't be a date. Right?" Asked Danielle.

"It's too many for a phone number," said Eve jokenly.

Alex grabbed his GPS and entered the number. "They are coordinates," he said with his eyes twinkling. "You girls want to go on an adventure?"
