Pixie hunting.

The elf can barely be bothered to look up from her trashy romance novel. "You know the Lilac Forest?" she says. "It's full of pixies. Little flying creatures with wings who love practical jokes."

I nod. I've dealt with pixies before. They're only a low-level threat, but they can still be incredibly annoying if you're not prepared for them. "What do you need?"

"The pixies have a new queen, and she's made them bold. They used to stay in the forest, but now they're raiding some of the outlying villages. Knocking over furniture, leading sheep astray, playing pranks on milkmaids, that kind of thing. The villagers have gotten together and put a bounty on her head."

"So you want me to go into the forest, find the Queen of the Pixies and bring her to justice?"

"Right. They want her brought in alive so they can punish her for her crimes."

I think about it. The job sounds easy enough. How difficult can it really be to fight pixies? They're only a few inches tall, after all.
