Open the door, and make a run for it

Taking advantage of Ted nursing his groin, Cheryl quickly unlocks the door, and dashes out into the desert. Sprinting in a random direction, she looks behind her at random, panicked intervals, but finds that Ted as well as his car, are no longer in
sight.

"Hm, I must have done more damage to the family jewels than I thought." snickered Cheryl.

After a few moments, Cheryl halts to catch her breath. "How on earth am I going to get out of here now?" Cheryl looks around her, and surveys the situation. Sand, rocks, and more sand. She can not seem to get her bearings, or find the main highway
for that matter.

An hour and a half of walking, and Cheryl comes to a pained realization. She is lost in the desert, and she must find a way out of here, or she will wish she stayed in Ted's car.

Taking another look around her, Cheryl spies some mountains on the west as well as some distance shrubbery on the east.
