Protect the person of interest

I need to think of more than my own pride and do what is right. If the backline is lacking support then I'll go there. I run back towards the chapel as I hear some war drums echo through the town and silencing our forces. It admittedly does a good job of sending a chill through my body and there was a small relief inside that I wasn't on the front lines.

"You here to defend the priestess?" I hear a voice call from the doorway. The person of interest is a priestess?

I simply nod in response. "Good. Get in here. We're closing up!" He yells and I run inside. I hear the heavy wood doors slam close behind me. I see a small group of guards with a random warrior give me a quick look and a nod before they go back to their conversation. I was in a small, tall, foyer. The door ahead looked like it led to the main chapel. There were some stairs to the left that went up to an upstairs hallway with several other doors. To the right there was another closed door.

"Priestess is upstairs with 2 more guards. We'll be closing the doors to the Chapel. Too many windows to guard. That door leads to the cellar. There's a sewer drain that goes to the lake, but It's underwater with steal bars. No way they can mount any sort of attack." The guard that closed the door behind me stated.

"So we just sit here and wait?" I ask.

"Yep. The bulk of our forces should repel there's, but there's a chance some could slip by so we need to be ready to pick up the stragglers. All it takes is one to get to the priestess and we lose."

"Why is she so important?"

"No idea, but the attack is no coincidence since she just got here the other day. Dalaran made a special request to keep her safe so here we are." He says and shrugs.

I sigh a little. Nothing was really making sense to me, but this was my first real quest so I guess I shouldn't expect much of myself. What I do know is I don't like standing around and doing nothing.
