Power-ups affect real life

You make it to level two without a hitch. The first level is always easy on these machines. That's how they suck you in.

You manage to spot a small section of the background that is subtly different than the rest of the surrounding area. It's so subtle that you're surprised that you noticed it. You attack it and a hole opens up beneath your character.

The screen goes black and text appears on the screen, "Insert Tokens to Redeem Power-ups."

Wow, that's lame. What a way to eat more quarters! The selections and their prices are listed on the screen.
