Chapter 16 by korook korook

What’s your first move?

Go straight for her. Try to rack up an early lead.

You charge at Samira immediately as the bell sounds, but she proves to be too quick for you. As you get close, she twirls out of the way gracefully and smacks into you with a hip-check, sending you stumbling away from her.

You quickly flip around to see her smirking at your blunder. She raises her arm and beckons you with one finger, a come-hither gesture made into a challenge. Embarrassed, you race toward her again, faster than last time, but she dodges this just as easily as the last, swaying aside just slowly enough to let your body brush against hers.

“Third time’s the charm?” she mocks, standing a little closer to you.

Hoping she’s right, you charge at her once more—only to be met with a powerful kick to the chin. Samira’s legs do a perfect split as she kicks you, and you’re sent toppling backwards to the mat.

“Oops, sorry,” she says, striding over to you and grabbing one of your legs. “I meant for me.”

She wraps both of her legs around yours and rolls backwards, pulling your legs into a split much like the one she just did. You grunt in pain as your muscles are stretched to their limits.

“And this match gets off to a great start as Maharani Samira locks in one of her famous yoga submissions!” the commentator shouts.

Can you escape?
