It's Final Boss Time

Rider takes off as Saber moves in to engage Gilgamesh. The clang of melee battle reverberates throughout the temple. As Rider approaches the Grail, she is stopped by a familiar voice. "Stop!' Rin calls out. "Don't touch it." Rider looks over at Rin. "It's very unstable. Cover me, and get ready to destroy this thing once I get him out." Rider nods as Rin ventures forth onto the purple creep.

***Scene shift***

Saber and Giglamesh remain locked in an epic battle. But it's obvious Saber is running out of power. She gasps heavily as she wields Excalibur while she fends off Giglamesh. Gilamesh looks like he hasn't even began to fight. With a smirk on his face, he says "You know, you could have avoided all this if you had simply become my wife." "Never!" Saber retorts. "Then if I cannot claim you as my prize, nobody will. Especially not that mongrel." A shimmering gold pool appears behind Gilgamesh. "Gate of Babylon." He intones as multiple sword hilts emerge.

Your eyes widen as you see the display of swords and know, they are all Noble Phantasms. "Goodbye." Gilgamesh says as a rain of swords pour out of the Gate. This style.. you've seen it before. Yes. With Archer. You summon forth your dual blades as Saber fends off the rain of swords and jump into the fray.

As a sword comes for your pending demise, Saber sees you join her, "Shirou, no!" She exclaims as she jumps in front of you. That moment of movement was enough for one of Gilgamesh's many blades to pierce Saber.

Blood spews from Saber's mouth. She looks over at you and says, "It's over... Run.. and thank you." You refuse. You won't back down from this fight. You won't let Saber's sacrifice go to vain. Gilgamesh laughs, "Your pathetic servant was no match for me. And you wish to challenge me!? I will make your **** slow and suffering."
