Berserker steamrolls Assassin

Berserker and Illya are lined up to begin their run up the temple stairs to confront Caster. "Okay Berserker. Don't waste any time or energy on Assassin. Take care of him quickly so you have all your strength to take on Caster." Illya instructs. A hrmph is heard from Berserker. He doesn't need any pep talk, just pointed in a direction and told to kill.

Illya turns towards the stairs with a smirk. "You know what to do." Berserker needs no further affirmation from his Master to begin charging up the long stairs towards the temple. "Graaahhh!" Berserker rams up the stairs at full speed with Illya following behind.

Right on queue, Assassin materializes on the precipice of the steps. "I am afraid -" Assassin's monologue is cut short by the rampaging Berserker. Assassin raises his blade to be quickly outmatched by Berserker's mighty fist. Berserker's fist shatters Assassin's kitana, and drives all his rage and power into Assassin's body.

Assassin fades into ether in a fraction of a second. Berserker doesn't look back as he steamrolls over the defeated Assassin and to the top of the stairs where Caster awaits. Illya grins as she sees Berserker finish Assassin in a single blow; but realizes the true fight has yet to begin.
