New duties for the demon

When he woke up, Erik noticed his bedroom was a mess: he had neglected to keep it tidy while preparing for the ritual. The rest of the mansion was probably in need of a thorough cleaning as well.

Erik smiled, because he found his first task for the demon.

He went to the room where he chained her, whistling happily; he found her still asleep, so he woke her up unceremoniously. "Get up, there's work for you to do." he told her.

"I am not your servant." she said, still half-asleep.

"Actually, you are, but fine: I command you to get up right now."

The demon got up as slowly as she could. "What is it that you want?" she said angrily.

"My mansion is messy, I want you to clean it up."

"What?" she cried out, shocked. "I am a demon, not some kind of... handmaiden!"

"You are what I tell you to be." Erik calmly retorted. "And by the way, your robe is not adequate for the job." He snapped his fingers and her robe vanished; with another snap they were replaced by a black and white maid's uniform.

"Oh, come on!" she complained. "There's no way I can clean up your entire mansion!"

"You can if you start now; it should take you about sixteen hours if you are fast. Come in my laboratory once you are done: third floor, second room to the left. Now be a good maid an get started, Irina."
