Stop her!

"Tiffany! Tiffany! Stop!" Rosa hissed, trying not to yell out. Tiffany couldn't hear her.

Rosa ran across the distance to the safehouse, just as Tiffany started to step inside.

"Wait wait wait!" Rosa reached out to grab Tiffany's shoulders and pull her back, but Rosa's bare feet slipped in the dirt. Her momentum carried her into Tiffany's back and the two crashed through the door. In the dark, Rosa felt a small wire catch against her foot and release as the two fell to the floor.

The lights kicked on as the trip wire was triggered. The door slammed shut, and so too did Rosa's chance of getting off this island untouched.

"Fuck! Fuck! Fuck!" Rosa screamed, pounding the floor with her fist.

Tiffany scampered to her feet. "There's no knob! There's no windows!" It was true. The "safehouse" had no apparent exits other than the door, and it was sealed shut from the other side.

"That's because it's a trap." Rosa said, climbing to her feet. "They did warn us some of the safehouses would be traps."

"We have to get the fuck out of here!" Tiffany said. "I have to get back to the start and drop off this ring!"

A wave of calm washed over Rosa. The captured animal seems at ease, because it knows its fate.

"Tiffany." Rosa opened her pack and pulled out some of the food they had given her. She offered half of it to Tiffany.

"Even if this little funhouse didn't alert the men, they'd be coming this way because of your ring. Take some of this."

Tiffany took it, tentatively.

"We need to keep our heads about us. Even if" - And Rosa hung on the word, knowing it was all but a certainty at this point - "even if they take us both, the game isn't over. We save some strength, make a break for it, and maybe we can still win this thing."

Tiffany looked down at the small energy ration. Both women ate it in silence, as if not speaking would somehow forestall the inevitable. Some time passed in quiet.

"I'm sorry." Tiffany said softly.

"Don't be." Rosa said. "I'm a grown woman, I made my own decisions." Rosa didn't really feel grown right now, she felt a little small. But she could see it helped Tiffany not to pile on her. Rosa offered a hug and Tiffany took it.

The familiar heat returned to Rosa's loins, even stronger this time. She had been pushing back all day, stamping it down with focus and distraction and the adrenaline of her flight. But now it was nearly overpowering. Rosa, being the shorter woman, ended up resting her face in Tiffany's ample breasts. She felt Tiffany's hand on her chin, pulling her gently up to look into her eyes. Rosa could see that same heat reflected back at her.

It's not just me feeling this way... Deep down Rosa thought that was suspicious, but there were more pressing matters at hand. Namely, Tiffany's sweet lips. The brunette leaned in and tenderly kissed Rosa, sending a charge through Rosa's body. Tiffany's tongue teased Rosa's mouth, and the smaller woman practically melted.

I've never kissed a girl, never even thought about a girl... But Rosa was losing herself in it.

Then the door opened...
