For your tactical planning

You were considered a tactical genius by many, it was this very attribute that allowed you to distinguish your self from the rest of your fellow grunts in the Forces.

you had grown up reading famous tactical books such as the art of war and some more modern ones like "An Earth forces comprehensive book to tactical planning". Not exactly light reading but your years of reading these had seemed to pay off.

You also liked to test yourself with tactical questions, reading was fine but it would only get you so far in real life.

A common question you like to ponder was a time old one. "What would happen in a scenario if a spear that can break any shield were to strike a shield that can block any weapon"? The answer is that they would both cancel each others effects and both would break.

Although your aptitude for tactical planning hadn't really come in much use due to the fact you hadn't seen much combat it was still enough to let you climb your way up the ranks.
