Irrekam and the torn page

Then in the back of the book you find a page. In the back of the book is a page written in a sprawling hand,

“To my beloved John,
your friend forever,
Irrekam”

That is strange. You lookaround. No one is watching. You reach up and tear out the page, in order to put it into your pocket, but as you tear it out, the world is torn, as if all that you could see is merely a projection on a screen now torn in two, like the page. You think back to earlier that day, you wonder, ‘what had Daniel put in that brownie.’

As the world seems to tear away, you see a funny little man with a strange little moustache.
