Go with the barmaid

"No, thanks fellas, I still have a long trip ahead of me. You have fun there." You reply kinda politely for your doing and then walk out of the tavern.

You wait outside the tavern and after a while the barmaid comes out and talks with you.

"They would have **** you, robbed you and handed you over to the witch. They are all afraid of the witch and her power. And they are frustrated and terrified for what she would do to them if they wouldn't help her."
The barmaid is tall and slender and her long blond hair flows around her shoulders as she whispers to you.

"But the witch is not here and you live outside of her teritory." You ask curiously.

"That's right but she has come here several times and took women away to work in her brothels. Somehow she knows and sees things that she shouldn't be able to. Everyone fears her."

You are a bit uncertain. Perhaps you should ask her to point you to the witch. But perhaps she knows someone who can help you learn more about the witch.
