After Work Invite

I was back at my desk, Mr. Brunson was finally off of my back after last night. I was caught up in my work and was about to take a lunch break when Thomas walked over, a recently new hire, Thomas had moved up the corporate latter relatively quick. He was in his mid thirties and was pretty handsome.

"Hey Sam, I heard about last night, me and a few of the guys were gonna head to a bar to night to blow off some steam, would you care to join us?"

"Thanks Thomas, it's really been a rough week, but I don't think I can make it,"

"Why not?"

"Well my wife was pretty upset about me spending so much time at the office, I think I better spend some time with her to make up for it."

"I have a great idea, bring her along, she can meet your coworkers, hell, I'd love to get to know her." Thomas flashed a grin.

"Hhhhmmm, it wouldn't hurt to ask."
