Piñata Breaking

You meet the eyes of the snake woman, her red contacts fixed on you the whole time. "I'll give it a swing!" you hurriedly shout to her over the crowd, raising your hand and pushing through to the clearing beneath the tree.

"The princess it is!" she yells as she meets you halfway, legs hidden behind a long, tight scaly skirt and green lips twisted in a smirk. She then holds the bat out to you, and wastes no time bringing the blindfold to your eyes, moving behind you to tie it tight.

"Three swings and you're done; if you break it you win what's inside. Got it?" she says, voice right by your ear.

You grip the light wooden bat in your hands, and nod. "Got it." With that, you feel her hand give your butt a firm push, and you take an uncertain step forward, unable to see anything.

You hear the tree creak above you, and soon feel the air rushing overhead as the piñata is sent to swinging. The noise of the crowd slowly grows as you attempt to anticipate the piñata's movements, waiting for the right time to give it a good whack. With unsteady steps you turn about, trying to face the direction it's coming from, but it seems to change frequently.

You swing--and miss. You swing again--and miss again. You can hear the branch creak loudly as it comes back, and time a heavy swing right down the middle, and--smack!

The crowd erupts in cheers, the sound deafening all around you. As you go to remove the blindfold, you feel a few pieces of candy hit your head, followed by a stream of candy as the hole widens. Before you can completely take off the blindfold, you're toppled by something big falling out of the piñata that sends you to the ground and lands in your lap.
