All I Have Left, All I Want!

I can remember the crash like it was yesterday. The small Honda hatchback blowing a tire on the Trans Canada Highway just as we passed into Northern Ontario. The car rolled over and over before rolling into the ditch landing on it’s roof, mom instantly killed when the roof caved in on the second roll over. I was trapped in the front passenger seat, my brother Aaron in the back seat escaped without a scratch naturally.

The ambulance attendants arrive, doing the preliminary medical checks before loading us into an ambulance taking us to the Lake Of The Woods District Hospital.

Mom is pronounced dead on scene, Aaron and I are held over night before were discharged and left to make our way back home to Mississauga. All the way from Kenora to Mississauga, Aaron hold my hand, reassuring me that everything will be alright and that’s when I became infatuated with my older brother.

It’s been six months since the accident and true to his word Aaron has made everything alright for me. Mom’s estate was settled leaving a 4 million dollars inheritance for Aaron and me to share.
