Morgan looked confused. "Wait, so I like guys now, but if I'm not going to to like guys anymore, does that mean I won't like anyone?"

Her Mom shook her head. "That's what I asked too, but apparently not. It seems you're going to become a lesbian. I know that will be quite an adjustment..."

"But what about Sam?" blurted out Morgan, thinking of her college boyfriend, who she'd been with for nearly a year.

"I'm sorry, dear," said her Mother with a sigh. "Maybe you and Sam can find some way to work things out, but as I understand it you're going to prefer girls now. But the important thing is that we'll all love and support you just as much, won't we?"

"Of course," said Martin, "Actually I guess I might be a lesbian soon too."

"It won't make any difference to me either," said Miranda. She thought that she should tell her sister that she'd realized recently that she was bisexual herself, but she figured she should wait for a private conversation.
