The next morning

You wake up, Sarah is gone, you look at your phone and it's 11am. Shit you missed work.

You notice 3 emails, 2 missed-phone calls and 5 text messages all from your boss. "Fuck" you think to yourself. As you get ready as fast as you can to jump into your car and speed to work.

After a frantic 15 minutes of making yourself look presentable and coming up with an excuse better than "I fucked my wife while she moaned her ex-boyfriends name" you run outside to your car.

It's gone.

"FUCK" you shout, "Sarah must've taken the car, she usually carpools why the hell has she taken my car!? and why didn't she wake me?!"

It's too late for that, you get a taxi to work. and barely make if there for 1pm. Your boss is furious and after having your ass kicked and finishing the little time at work that you had remaining you head back home to Sarah.

You get home, leaving the taxi and saying thanks to the driver, you see your car has returned so you assume Sarah has as well.

"Sarah?" you shout as you enter your front door.

"I'll be right there" she replies as she jogs to you from one of the back rooms, her face is noticeably blushed.

"Where have you been all day? Why didn't you wake me and why did you need to take my car?" you say with slight anger in your voice.

"Erm, I saw you sleeping so peacefully... and Jullies car broke down, so I couldn't get to work.", "You couldn't have taken a taxi?" You replied with an annoyed look on your face. "First I'm late for work and then I find out I have no car to get to work." you say, still annoyed.

The blush in her face deepens, "You only live 5 minutes away from work anyway" you continue, "you could have even just walked? Why did you need my car? Jullie only picks you up on the way because she drives down our street."

She quashes your line of questioning by distracting you with the dinner she had made, but you are very concerned, she didn't wake you because you were sleeping peacefully even though you had work? And she took your car for a trip that takes less that 5 minutes? You ignore the drama and enjoy your meal.
