Follow Mike

Picking up Mike's case, Sam falls into Step behind the other man as the two of them cross into the front room. "I have to say it's a lovely place you've got here."

Mike looks down at Sam for a moment and nods. "Yes, it is," is his only reply.

Stunned for a moment Sam just stands there awkwardly with the case as Emma and the kids come in as well. "You can take the case upstairs." Mike tells him. "My wife will show you where."

"Um..." Sam begins, but Emma touches his arm.

"It's alright, follow me."

Obediently Sam follows Emma up the stairs and into the first room on the right, a huge master bedroom complete with en-suite bathroom, and a gorgeous view out the window of the forests surrounding the house. "Wow, this is some view."

Emma drops her case on the bed, and unzips it before moving across to join Sam looking out the window. "It really is." She tells him, taking the case from his hand. "So quiet and tranquil too. There's not another soul around for miles either."

Sam pulls himself away from the window and spots Emma beginning to unpack the bags, wondering if maybe he's supposed to offer to help, or if he should just get back downstairs.
