The Prophecy

You wake up again with Cenys cuddled close to you, her head resting on your chest. You don't feel quite as refreshed as you would want to. Only then you realize why you woke up - someone's knocking.
"What the..."
There it is again. A soft knock. Cenys stirs in your arms and opens her eyes. You carefully lift her head and place it next to you on the bed while she's still struggling to wake up. Quickly you get out of bed and put some clothes on. I guess after all the good things that have happened so far, expecting these people to respect late risers was too much to expect.
You open the door and are surprised to find Ari. "Quick", she whispers and moves past you, giving you no time to stop her. "Close the door. I'm not really allowed to be here."
Confused, you do as she says. "What's going on?"
Ari notices Cenys. "Oh. Hi."
"Mhm", the servant girl mumbles drowsily.
You can't imagine what prompted the girl to sneak into the palace just to speak to you. Has something happened?
"Please tell me you haven't married anyone yet", Ari says with a troubled look.
"I- what? No, I haven't!"
She seems visibly relieved. "Good. I found something out."
She sits down onto the bed next to Cenys, who now finally seems to join the world of the awakened.
"Found out what?", you ask, getting more confused by the minute.
"The Queen has offered to marry you, I assume."
"Her daughter actually - but she seemed to be willing to, uh, throw herself in the deal."
Ari nods. "Ah, sure, that works to. You see, when I found you, I told you that we don't get many men on this island. The truth is, we get none north of the mountains."
You raise your eyebrows. "Well... there is a first time for everything."
"No", she answers, not changing her serious tone. "Not a first time. The only time. You are and will be the only man to ever visit this island outside of the trade cities."
"And you know that... how?"
She sighs. "Because there is a prophecy. Your arrival made me remember an old story I used to know, so I asked a friend, and she found the passage for me."
She takes a piece of parchment out of her pocket, unfolds it and begins to read. "A man will arrive to herald the new age, first and last of his kind. His is the strength to bring the ancient mysteries to light, and his seed carries the future of elvenkind."
She looks up to you. "The Queen wants to marry her daughter to you because she wants that power for herself."
You take a few seconds to deal with this new information. "Wait... what? Ancient mysteries? Future of elvenkind?"
Suddenly Cenys speaks up. "Magic. The Queen wants to bring magic back."
Ari nods. "Yes. A long time ago, all elves were powerful mages, capable of bending the will of reality to their needs. That art is all but dead. If the Queen controls you, she would control these powers and reunite the island under her rule."
"I thought she was already Queen."
"Yes, in name - but she has very little say about what happens outside of this city. The Princesses of the realm are largely independent."
A silence falls over the room - the two elves seem troubled, you are still rather overwhelmed. "So I should deny?"
Ari bites her lip. "She wouldn't accept that. You have to run."
Suddenly her eyes light up. "You could go with me. We could be adventurers, exploring the island, finding the ancient mysteries ourselves, fuck every day under the stars..."
You grin. That sounds tempting.
"You could also build your own place", Cenys says. You give her a surprised look. "What do you mean?"
"Find a spot of land, build a home, a castle even. Have children. Be your own master. I... I could be your wife if you want me. I could give you many daughter-concubines."
