You glare at Derik. Over the last year the metaphorical wounds caused by your fight with him have festered. Though the thought crosses your mind that if you let him seduce or **** this peasant girl might heal those wounds, you decide to order him not to touch her. "You will not touch her, as these peasants are under the protection of my father." You gesture at the scar above his right eye. "Or shall I add another scar to the one I've already given you?"

He glares at you more, his hand momentarily moving towards his sword. He hesitates, then snarls, kicking his horse in the flanks to spur ahead of you.

You smile to yourself, not giving a shit that you've made him hate you even more. He was already your enemy after all. You look back at the girl Erica and smile at her as she looks up and sees you. She blushes slightly and curtsies to you as she stands. With a wave to the peasant girl you ride off after Derik.
