'The Bitch' Isn't Alone, And She Can Talk...

When you catch up with your quarry you find her handing out strips of raw bacon from the package you had in your ice chest, which she seems to have opened with a chipped and rusty 'stainless' steel kitchen knife, to a yiping pack of other Half-Human / Half-Wolf/Dog women and girls.

This forces you to pause and reassess the plan, you don't think you can take all 12 or 13 of them by yourself, at least not all at once, but it's what you hear next that stops you cold.

Two of the young girls in the pack both try to grab the next strip of bacon but The Bitch who bit you jerks it back from their reach and rebukes them in plain English.

"Anna, Debby, what have I told you about grabbing at the food and not waiting for your turn?" She asks, and both the girls look dismayed.

It's the one you think she addressed as Debby who answers, on the verge of tears. "That 'You move to the back of the Queue and have to wait until everyone else has taken their portion. ' Auntie Jean," Debby says, **** down a sob.

"Right, now, both of you head to the back of the pack and wait, there should be enough bacon in the package for you to still get some, but rules are rules, and they all exist for a good reason," 'Jean' says, and the girls obey.

This is not something you were expecting: 'The Bitch' apparently has a name, "Aunty Jean", and she seems to be caring for a large group of children, teens and young adults. You can't go through with the original plan now, Jean clearly is not some kind of monster, she's a thinking, feeling, and caring person: the next question becomes, what do you DO about that? You are fortunately down wind from the pack, so they don't know you are here yet, but the wind could change at any time: so you don't have much time to decide.

You see two main choices for what to do right now: Try to backtrack to your car and head for the city, or make yourself known to the pack and find out more about what's going on here: but of course you can actually do just about anything...
