Upstairs into the Survival Enclave

The four women escort us to the door of one of those empty shafts and press a button on the wall which lights up with an alarming *Ding!*. Shortly the doors open to reveal a small boxy room and we are herded into it. The doors close behind us and with a press of a button the entire room begins to move, carrying us along with it will we or no.

There is no further conversation exchanged during this whole process, nor while we are escorted through what looks for all the world like a Daimio's Castle at the other end...

We are shown into a bathing room, the strange pale women apparently being unconcerned about the fact that I am Male and Jane Doe is a woman.

"Nyūyoku, hanshu wa anata o kitai shite imasu." Their leader says, and they depart, closing the door behind them.

"What did they say?" Jane Doe asks in a whisper when they have gone.

"They want us to bathe so that we may be presented to the Daimio."

"What's a 'Daimio'?" Jane asks.

"Their Lord. They are his vassals and one of them is of the bushi caste, what you call a knight." I explain, then turn my head in embarrassment: "They apparently think because you are Gaijin we would not be embarrassed bathing together, but I for one am. You bathe first, I will stand facing the wall."
