Jake wrenched himself away from Tariq. He rolled off the bed and onto the floor. Tariq moved towards the door, blocking off Jake's exit route.
"Once a sacrifice has begun, it cannot be stopped", Tariq said with a predatory grin.
Jake stood up shakily.
