Call Answering

Serves her right if I just let it ring,but then i'd be left wondering why she stood me up! Cursing I thumb the accept icon. "Hello Olivia nice evening?"

"Max I watched you sitting there,I can't believe you waited as long as you did!" stopping so i would have time to let her words sink in. "I know i have no right to ask this but will you meet me so i can explain in person?"

I think it over before replying to her request. Maybe i should say yes then stand her up,let her see how it feels! But then i picture her picture in my mind and as much as I want to I know that I want to know why." Sure Olivia,when and where?"

"Right now,right here Max!" Olivia says as she walks right up to me. Looking sheepishly at me,extending her hand "Hi!"

Shutting off my phone and putting it away I check her out before accepting her hand. Damn cute!, even better than in her picture. Then i spot that her left shoe is thicker soled than her right and that her left foot is angled slightly inwards towards the right.

She notices my discovery! "That's why i did what i did,I wanted to see if you got cross fast!" then she confesses "I kinda lied in my profile story,I do hike,bike but not great distances and mostly on really familiar territory cause of my condition

I alleviate her worries "If i wanted to go hiking,biking,I've got friends for that,they don't look like you!" this sets her off giggling "And i don't care if you got a wonky leg, that wasn't what attracted me to your profile in the first place!" Then I really throw her. "I know it'a late but would you like to go for a coffee and doughnut since I've already ate?"

"I would love too,I've only had a couple of PB&J sandwich which i made at home and a couple cans of Coke that I brought along for the stakeout!"

Offering my elbow to her, "Shall we be off then Olivia?"

"Why yes Max!"
